Area of mental health of Mecklenburg gains prize The Area of Mental Health of the county of Mecklenburg and the Services of Abuse of Substance and Incapacities have been recognized with an excellence prize the programs by public awareness and support by its campaign “Pregúntame how I am”.
The prize was presented/displayed by the Council of Communitarian Mental Health of Carolina of the North in past December within the framework of its annual conference in Pinehurst, Carolina of the North. A survey of behavior of risk of the young people indicated that one of each eight young people has tried to commit suicide during the 2007 in Charlotte Mecklenburg. The Area of Mental Health altogether works with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) and several groups of young people to inform about the campaign, to jeopardize the public and to create awareness about the signs and symptoms of the depression between young people and the suicide. New stage of “Pilgrims in pair”
